Reformation's Chicago Choose Meeting Notice & Agenda at Lutheran School of Theology

Meeting Notice & Agenda

Reformation Church-Chicago's Tourism Justice meeting with CHOOSE CHICAGO, the City's public -private-partnership agency over  Chicago's tourism industry, occurs on Tuesday, December 8th, 11AM, in the President's Dining Room of Lutheran School of Theology-Chicago's (LSTC's) Cafeteria, 55th Street and University-Hyde Park.

The meeting's agenda follows:

1) Supporting Reformation Church-Chicago's ("Young Barack Obama's community organizing sanctuary") upcoming BLACK NATIVITY MEETS KWANZAA special holiday evening, emergency fundraiser-December 26 and 27, 2015 at LSTC;

2) Supporting Reformation's regularly envisioned Young Barack Obama History Tours to our Church-and the adjacent historic Pullman community of which we are an organic part;

3) Collaborating in building Reformation's envisioned GAMALIEL INSTITUTE FOR TOURISM JUSTICE at LSTC to serve as an ongoing, faith-based center for education and training on tourism justice in Chicago, the State of Illinois, Brand America, and internationally.

Key Note on Rabbi Gamaliel, the patron saint of Saul Alinsky inspired grassroots community organizing:

The name means "God is my reward."  'One of the most respected religious scholars of his day.  He intervened with the Sanhedrin on Peter and the apostles' behalf (Ac. 5:33-39) Paul was one of his students.'

Respectfully submitted: Rev. Joel Washington (Khunanpu Sangoma) for Reformation Church-Chicago's Tourism Justice ("Young Barack Obama's community organizing sanctuary"), 12-7-15.
